● modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, the Website (or any part of it) with or without notification, and that we shall not be liable to anybody for the effect of any modifications, and/or
● change these Conditions from time to time with or without notification.
● use our reasonable endeavors to maintain the Website.

No visitor to the Website will be eligible for any compensation because he/she cannot use any part of the Website or because of a failure, suspension or withdrawal of all or part of the Website.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy applies to all the web pages related to this website. All the information gathered in the online forms on the website is used only by KaiaPraia to personally identify users that subscribe to our service. The information will not be used for anything other than which is stated in the Terms & Conditions of use for this service. None of the information will be sold or made available to anyone else.

By using this website, you signify your acceptance of our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our site. Your continued use of the website will mean that you accept the content.


Once payment is made for a reservation, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such payment.
If you have any queries please contact us before making any reservation for any service offered by KaiaPraia.

In trend with general accommodation reservations in the Industry;
A 50% deposit will secure a preliminary booking. Full payment has to be made at least 30 days before the arrival date to finally secure the booking dates.
Bookings made in the 30 day period before arrival has to be paid in full to secure confirmation.
Reservations made through travel booking agents shall be considered as if made in a personal capacity directly with KaiaPraia.
Should payment not reflect in the indicated KaiaPraia bank account on arrival, then KaiaPraia will assume no payment has been made, in which event a full cash payment must be made, assuming KaiaPraia has room available at that time.
For payments in currencies other than what was quoted, the Bank Exchange Rate on the day will apply.

• No refunds will be made for notice of Cancellation received within 30 days before arrival.
• For Cancellations made in the period 30 to 60 days before arrival, 50% of a deposit paid will be refunded.
• For Cancellations made more than 60 days before the arrival date, 75% of a deposit paid will be refunded.
• NOTE; No refunds will be made for Cancellation of bookings falling in the Seasonal periods.
• Also kindly note that once reservations have been confirmed and paid there will be no refunds for non arrivals, late arrivals or early departures, state of unrest, inconvenience or damage caused by natural conditions such as rain- or wind-storms, or should the facilities not meet the expectations of the client.

KaiaPraia accept South African Rand, US$ and Meticals.
KaiaPraia’s basic currency is Meticals, and applies its own exchange rate for other currencies.
KaiaPraia reserves the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice. Payments in advance will be honoured.
KaiaPraia does not have CREDIT CARD facilities.The nearest ATM which accepts Visa cards is in Bilene which pays out in Meticals.

Booking in: from 14:00, and Booking out: before 11:00 unless otherwise arranged.
A damage deposit of 500Mt is required on arrival. This is refunded on departure once house keeping has made a check and signed the back of your receipt.
No loud music or excessive noise is allowed that may disturb other visitors.
No smoking or the use of candles/burning-lamps are allowed inside the cottages.

Please be reminded that KaiaPraia is self-catering;
● Services provided -
The chalets are swept, cleaned and beds made once per day.
Bathrooms towels (one per person) are replaced every 3rd day.
Bedding is replaced every 5th day.
Dishwashing is done twice daily. 7 o'Clock in the morning (dinner dishes) and 4 o'clock in the afternoon (breakfast/lunch dishes).

Please remember to bring your own beach towels and umbrellas.

Working hours: 07h00 to 12h00 (siesta) 14h00 to 17h00.
Should you wish to engage our staff for services outside working hours, then please negotiate with them directly. They will be glad to assist you.

Day-visitors :
Should you wish to invite friends as day-visitors, then please arrange with management in advance.
Please advise your friends to bring their own chairs, braai-facilities and portable gazebos.

Our water supply is Fresh borehole water, commonly used for all purposes – BUT we suggest guests buy bottled water for drinking.
Our electricity supply is dependent on EDM. No refunds or compensation for inconvenience or damage will be considered due to power failures.
Our water supply is directy dependent on the eletricity supply. Thus, again, no refunds or compensation will be consider for lack of water outside our control.

Visitors to KaiaPraia are encouraged to ensure against cancellation charges, personal accident and damage to, or loss of property, as KaiaPraia does not accept any liability in this regard.

Parking is free and at own risk. Take care not to park your vehicle under fruit trees. A coconut can cause great damage.
There is neither petrol nor diesel available in Nhabanga. Please come prepared.
Travel on the beach with any vehicle is restricted to certain areas. Hefty ‘fines’ are possible in this regard. Enquire.
